Playground games booklet

This project will link the local community, such as residents within the local care home and associated primary school learners, which will provide the class with information on areas of researching history and market research.  The learners will gain a greater level of knowledge and understanding through working together to produce an end product.

Broad Outcomes of learning

• Subject knowledge of Ms Publisher gained and enhanced
• Employability skills gained through the development of core skills which are reinforced by the class teacher: communication, planning, organisation, time management, researching, sourcing, co-operating, contributing
• Responsibility for their learning enhanced through doing appropriate market research and making decisions about needs of target
• Gained 4 capacities of CfE

• Curriculum topic on ‘Microsoft Publisher’ is relevant to work and life and how this subject knowledge is put into practice in a real situation
