Win a day on the Clyde for your classmates

We have linked up with the Evening Times to offer two young people the chance to win a fantastic prize for their class that celebrates the redevelopment of the River Clyde and the great attractions on offer along the waterfront.

Physics made fun on the river

We've added a new opportunity to the website in conjunction with Safer Glasgow. The new course outline is designed to take pupils out on the river aboard a round-the-world yacht to learn some applied physics, as well as plenty of other cross curricular themes.

Pupils promote Classroom on the Clyde

First year pupils at Glasgow’s Holyrood Secondary School were recently set the challenge of creating advertising materials and a new jingle to promote educational boat trips on the River Clyde.

River Clyde comes to the Classroom

We are delighted to report on an education initiative that is taking the River Clyde right into the classroom. Not to be confusted with our own Classroom on the Clyde project, this long-running programme is all about "Clyde in the Classroom."

New Titan Crane resources

The latest addition to our curriculum resources is ideal for combining with a visit to the Titan Crane and John Brown's shipyard in Clydebank.

Website launch event

The launch of the Clyde Waterfront Education website took place on Monday 16th June at the new BBC Scotland headquarters at Pacific Quay on the Clyde with an event for educationalists, business people and developers.

Primary school poster competition

A poster competition was held in the summer of 2007 with winning entries used to illustrate the Clyde Waterfront Education publicity material.
