Land use changes along the Clyde

This idea will apply k/u of land uses in a real life context. Pupils in teams are tasked with carrying out a field visit and discussing with experts what is planned for the area. They will report this development to their peers and parents using 3D model and presentation.

Outcomes of learning

• Subject knowledge about land use changes gained and enhanced
• Enterprising skills enhanced – application of knowledge in a real situation by selecting and applying the appropriate knowledge necessary for the task
• Develop employability skills: planning, organisation, time management, researching, presenting of the information
• Confidence of working independently from teacher-led lessons demonstrated by building on existing knowledge and developing it
• Pupils take responsibility for their learning through making decisions about level of input
• Pupils have developed enterprising skills identified as 4 capacities of CfE
