Our approach
An Executive Team reports to the Clyde Waterfront Strategic Partnership Board, and has a ‘cross-boundary’ remit to ensure consistency and unity in all the work taking place or planned along the 20 km river corridor.
Our action plan has established key priorities that will drive the regeneration of the Clyde.
Transport and infrastructure
We will provide research and a co-ordination for the proposed new integrated transport systems:

trams/light railway

roads
-
river transport.
We will provide a co-ordinated approach to the practical issues of sewage, drainage and power supplies for the area.
Investment
Our overview of all investments in Clyde Waterfront projects will provide key information on sources of funding and where it will be spent.
Linking Opportunity and Need (LOAN)
With the expectation of thousands of new jobs, we will ensure that local people have the right skills to exploit these new opportunities. New housing must also be affordable to enable local residents to benefit fully from the physical transformation.
Marketing
We will work to promote the River Clyde as a location for living, leisure and working. It is important that the river is recognised as a vital part of Scotland's economy, helping us compete internationally.
Our action plan includes the promotion of events along the riverside, bringing a co-ordinated approach to improving the environment and making it a safe and attractive place to live, work and play.
