Housing development
This idea will develop the practical skills of young people in using various IT applications. Young people will work independently initially investigating the services and amenities available in the Clyde area. Pupils will then be placed in groups to design schedules and decide how best to promote the development. They will then utilise various IT applications to promote housing development using knowledge gained along with files provided by class teacher.

• Confidence of working independently from teacher-led lessons demonstrated by researching the Clyde area using Internet searching skills and applying knowledge gained whilst working in groups
• Pupils take responsibility for their learning through making decisions about what information will be included in their projects and how best to complete their task
• Pupils have developed 4 capacities of CfE
