Developing communities along the Clyde
With the wholehearted backing of everyone living in the riverfront areas, we can deliver the best, most diverse mix of businesses, housing, tourism and transport solutions. Equally, unless communities are properly involved, the investment benefits along the waterfront will not be fully enjoyed locally.
We are committed therefore to ensuring our regeneration plan is informed by existing residents and workforces.
From Dumbarton to Glasgow Green, the river houses a number of neighbourhoods, all of which have a part to play in the transformation of the waterfront. A number of community action groups are already actively engaged in the continuing regeneration of the River Clyde. They are working to make sure local residents have their say in the redevelopment plans. You can also make a difference by participating in these efforts.
