Titan Crane at Clydebank

Free-fall abseil on the Titan: 1 and 2 May 2010

At 150ft tall it has stood on the banks of the River Clyde for over 100 years, a symbol of the industrial age. The Titan Crane is a true Scottish landmark. You have a once in a lifetime chance to free-fall abseil this monster structure and raise money for ENABLE Scotland at the same time.

Your next chance to abseil from the Titan Crane is on the  1st and 2nd of May 2010.

No previous experience is necessary, a dedicated team of expert instructors will be there to talk you through the basics of abseiling, including how to control the speed of your descent. You will be provided with all the abseil equipment, all you need to bring on the day is comfortable clothing, sensible footwear and perhaps a few friends and family to cheer you on! There is no maximum age limit for the Titan Abseil. If you are under 18 we require the consent of your parent or guardian before you can abseil. There are no weight restrictions.
