Exhibition on the Clydeside blitz

This project idea will further develop a knowledge and understanding of events of WWII. The learners will carry out research on the Clydeside blitz and how it impacted on the local community. Each group will research a different aspect of The Blitz and be responsible for their part of the display. The exhibition of work will initially be for parents and community to view.

Broad Outcomes of learning

• Local history subject knowledge gained and enhanced
• Provide a display for school viewing for peers and visitors
• Developed employability skills: communication, planning, organisation, researching, and presenting
• Learners have developed 4 capacities of CfE
