A series of events is being held in Clydebank to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the bombing of the town.
The worst air raid that Scotland was to experience during the World War 2 left 528 dead, 617 seriously injured and more than 35,000 homeless.
A memorial service was held at Kilbowie St Andrew's church to mark the anniversary of the 1941 event when only 7 homes in the town were untouched.
