This idea will develop research skills, a knowledge and understanding of promotional graphics, and develop an interest in local places of note. Young people will work with the task of designing a Clyde version of Monopoly® for use in school and in local community. Learners may visit the Clydeside or some of the buildings or places of interest surrounding it. Use software or manual graphic skills to produce images, text, packaging etc.

• Develop employability skills communication, planning, organisation, time management, researching, presenting, sourcing
• Confidence of working independently from teacher-led lessons demonstrated by leadership in the area chosen to research, design for the target market (junior) and the format of the graphics
• Pupils take responsibility for their learning through making decisions about the layout, theme, target market and selection of relevant information
• Learners have developed enterprising skills identified as 4 capacities of ACfE
