Changing use of the river and its banks

This lesson/project idea aims to raise awareness of the importance of the River Clyde to the lives of individuals and communities.  The material will develop awareness of the changing nature of the opportunities and challenges connected with the river over time.

Broad Outcomes of learning

• Subject knowledge: an understanding of how the historical process of cause and effect can impact upon the lives of individuals and communities by linking the curriculum materials with what is happening on our doorstep
• Skills of enterprise: co-operation/interaction; communication; research and analysis; developed through individual research and group dynamics
